One of our companies is currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer in India.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of various IT projects through both manual and automated testing. As a key contributor, you will help define and implement processes and best practices to ensure a consistent and effective testing methodology across projects. You will also be expected to write test plans, execute test cases, and participate in design sessions. A strong understanding of web applications, web services, databases, and test automation technologies is essential, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate with various internal teams.
Accountabilities:
- Perform both manual and automated testing of web applications, web services, and databases.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases, documenting results and ensuring adherence to system/application requirements.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and project management, to define product requirements and review defects.
- Maintain and enhance automated test scripts and implement stress/load testing as part of the QA strategy.
- Track and report test results, providing management with updates on project progress and test outcomes.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE: 6+ years of experience as a Software QA Automation Engineer, with a deep understanding of QA methodologies in both manual and automated testing.
- Extensive experience with Java, Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured, and other automation tools.
- Solid experience with Agile development methodologies, change management, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of SQL-based databases, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET, XML, and JSON.
- Proven ability to write and execute test plans and test cases, document results, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey technical information to various audiences.
- Experience with automation platforms such as JMeter is a plus.
