About the Role
Business Wire’s Software Quality Engineering team supports a wide array of on-premises and cloud-based applications. We collaborate with several development teams across multiple product areas and focus on continuous improvement through incremental adjustments and rapid integration of feedback. The Software Quality Engineering team quickly identifies and improves our processes and testing methods so that we deliver excellent and dependable products. We are a strong team of skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented professionals hailing from diverse backgrounds and continually learning to solve new, challenging problems.
The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer has experience in software development and quality engineering. The right candidate can apply their knowledge of programming languages, data structures, and algorithms to identify and fix issues in the code while helping to create test automated frameworks, integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, and write code to improve the overall testability of our software. They investigate and determine how best to automate testing of applications and services and will be responsible for updating the test automation framework, maintaining test cases, and troubleshooting application test failures from sprint to sprint.
