Dutch Creative Director | Technology Company

For our prestigious client in the technology industry, we are seeking a talented freelance Dutch Creative Director/ Senior Copywriter to join our team at OLIVER to deliver and maintain high-quality marketing copy for our key global clients. As part of our network of freelancers, you will be responsible for all copy and messaging across various platforms and channels whilst staying true to the brand’s tone of voice. In this position you will be: • Responsible for the delivery of transcreations (from US English to Dutch), preserving the intended message, voice, and tone. Ensure the target copy is fluent, in line with the Brand’s personality and stylistically compelling. • Write creative and compelling copy that resonates with the target audience and engages them (selected deliverables only). Key Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience in copywriting and translation, either Agency or Client side. • Native-speaker level knowledge of Dutch, with strong proficiency in English. • Excellent creative writing skills and ability to adapt writing styles and tone for different target audiences. • Experience with translating marketing copy while maintaining brand voice and messaging. • Knowledge of technical writing principles and ability to translate complex technical language into easy-to-understand copy. • Familiarity with MT systems and evaluating MT output quality is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide constructive feedback. • Ideally with a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Marketing, Communications, or Linguistics. • Post-editing experience is a bonus.
