About The Role Wheely is going live in Florida, and we're hiring the General Manager who will get us there. You'll join with roughly three months to launch: hiring the founding team, securing the fleet and chauffeurs, building the operation before the first ride. From there, you own the P L and the brand in Florida: service standards, growth, clients, team. You'll report directly to our CEO and work alongside the team behind our New York launch. We're accelerating our US rollout on the back of New York, where growth has run ahead of plan, and Florida is next. With Miami as our regional HQ and operations across South Florida, the market case is straightforward: the local UHNW population has doubled over the past five years, demand runs year-round rather than seasonally, and the hospitality culture is closer to Wheely's standards than almost anywhere else in the country. We're looking for an operator who has launched or scaled a market before and who can move fast without losing the polish that defines Wheely. Seven-plus years of operating experience; backgrounds in investment banking or consulting are a plus, but not a substitute for hands-on operating chops. South Florida residency is required. Responsibilities • P L responsibility for Florida • The offline product: pricing, availability and fleet composition • Four local teams • Driver Operations • Quality Training (our Chauffeur Academy) • Sales (Wheely for Business) • Marketing • Launch and expansion strategy across Miami, Palm Beach, and key seasonal moments • Drive business development, identifying and capitalising on new opportunities for growth and partnerships • Collaboration with central Product team on the passenger and chauffeur experience • Regulatory strategy: navigating Florida's licensing and compliance landscape • External representation: press, partnerships and key stakeholder engagement Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or Economics from a leading university • Minimum 7 years of total experience, including 5+ years in either high-growth tech, investment banking, strategy consulting, VC or private equity • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Strong analytical / problem-solving skills • Professional fluency in English • Based in Miami What We Offer • Base salary starting from $210,000 per year, plus an annual bonus and equity in a high-growth scale-up. • Comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage and other benefits designed to support your wellbeing • Monthly credit for journeys with Wheely, allowing you to experience our service as a passenger and stay closely connected to the product • Office-based role in Miami All of your personal information will be collected stored and processed in accordance with Wheely’s Candidate Privacy Notice
