Head of Legal (Part-Time)

Orfium is a fast-growing music technology company representing some of the biggest music companies in the world, and we are looking for talented, hardworking people to join our team. We are looking for a part-time Head of Legal, based in Dublin, Ireland , who will be responsible for managing and overseeing all legal matters relating to the company, including corporate governance, human resources, and commercial matters. ● Lead, direct, and oversee all legal matters relating to the company ● Collaborate with the business team on commercial endeavours ● Oversee and manage all corporate governance matters, including: • Board of Directors matters • Internal governance policies and procedures • Legal compliance and statutory filings for the company in both the U.S. and • foreign markets (UK, Ireland, Greece, Japan, and Bulgaria) • Company’s employee equity incentive plan ● Manage external counsel regarding their assignments. ● Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned. Qualifications : ● 7+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with an established law firm or company preferred. ● Experience in working with international organisations ● Experience with US corporate governance issues and corporate secretarial duties ● Experience in high growth and technology companies preferred ● Knowledge of statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to businesses. ● Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality. ● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Strong supervisory and leadership skills. ● Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. ● Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills; extremely detail-oriented.
