<div><strong>General Summary&nbsp;</strong></div> <div><br>The Lead Facilities Technician is responsible for performing and, at times, leading the general&nbsp;<br>repair and maintenance of the company’s facilities and grounds. Coordinate the work of service&nbsp;<br>providers such as janitorial and cleaning services, plumbing services, and other facilities-related&nbsp;<br>vendors as needed. Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in administering day-to-day staffing, materials, equipment, and resources required to maintain the facility and grounds&nbsp;<br>and provide facility services to the site. Lead Facilities Technicians in coordinating work&nbsp;<br>requests and the work process. Help support the overall goal of maintaining a neat, clean, and&nbsp;<br>comfortable work environment to allow employees and customers to carry out their&nbsp;<br>responsibilities with minimal disruption due to facilities-related issues.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Must be available Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 8:30 PM</strong></div> <div><br><strong>Specific Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br>• Lead Facilities Technicians in carrying out duties to ensure client requests are fulfilled&nbsp;<br>and primary job responsibilities are performed.*<br>• Provide feedback to Facilities management, as well as lead the work of facilities team&nbsp;<br>and contract maintenance or services vendors to ensure all maintenance activities are&nbsp;<br>completed at a high quality standard in a timely manner.*<br>• Perform and/or lead regular checks and preventive maintenance on facilities-related&nbsp;<br>equipment and systems.*<br>• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled service and repair requests, including but not&nbsp;<br>limited to plumbing and electrical issues, repairing walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, and&nbsp;<br>other surfaces when needed. *<br>• Check the work order system daily for work requests assigned to facilities technicians.&nbsp;<br>Work with technicians to coordinate work and re-assign work requests as necessary to&nbsp;<br>facilitate completion on a timely basis*<br>• Work with Facilities management and team to coordinate and carry out employee and&nbsp;<br>department moves and furniture re-configurations.<br>• Comply with state’s general industry safety orders that apply to facilities-related&nbsp;<br>activities, including safe work practices and personal protection, fire protection, lock out&nbsp;<br>– tag out, hazardous materials, material handling and movement, ladder safety, and&nbsp;<br>other safety requirements. Enforce these safety standards within the team.*<br>• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and&nbsp;<br>global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. *&nbsp;<br>• Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the&nbsp;<br>regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. *&nbsp;<br>• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and&nbsp;<br>procedures. *<br>• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.&nbsp;<br>*Indicates an essential function of the role<br>Position Qualifications<br>Minimum education and experience:&nbsp;<br>• High School diploma with 6+ years of experience in facility maintenance including&nbsp;<br>electrical, plumbing, HVAC and Data, and all related systems, or an equivalent&nbsp;<br>combination of education and experience&nbsp;</div> <div><br><strong>Additional qualifications:&nbsp;</strong><br>• Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools, ability to work on a ladder&nbsp;<br>• Working knowledge of standard office tools and MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint&nbsp;<br>required.<br>• Knowledge of state’s general industry safety orders that apply to facilities-related&nbsp;<br>activities<br>• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate with&nbsp;<br>all employees, contractors and suppliers&nbsp;<br>• Ability to comprehend the English language sufficient to understand information such as&nbsp;<br>labels and instructions, receive job assignments and communicate progress and/or&nbsp;<br>completion of assignment&nbsp;<br>• Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry experience desired<br>• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail<br>• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various&nbsp;<br>projects simultaneously</div> <div><br><strong>Working Conditions</strong><br>• General office, warehouse, cleanroom, and shipping and receiving environments as well&nbsp;<br>as roof and building exteriors<br>• Potential exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens&nbsp;<br>• Requires some unassisted lifting up to 50 pounds&nbsp;<br>• Schedule may vary to include evenings, weekends, and holidays<br>• Willingness and ability to work on site.&nbsp;<br>• May have business travel from 0% - 10%<br>• Must be able to move between buildings and floors.&nbsp;<br>• Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office&nbsp;<br>equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day.&nbsp;<br>• Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets.&nbsp;<br>• Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed.&nbsp;<br>• Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all&nbsp;<br>levels on a daily basis.&nbsp;<br><br>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being&nbsp;<br>performed by people assigned to this classification.
