Regulatory Compliance Manager (Spanish or Portuguese Speaker)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING • Definition of technical specifications related to various investment compliance requirements, ongoing review and optimization of the relevant business processes • Advising the business in the areas of MiFID II/MiFIR, MAD/MAR, MiCAR, PSD II, SRD II, EMIR etc. to ensure adherence to the relevant regulatory requirements • Monitoring of the development of the relevant regulatory and legal norms, regulatory horizon scanning across the EU member states • Communication with internal and external stakeholders in all arising questions regarding investment compliance • Preparation of reports for management and for supervisory authorities, processing of inquiries of the EU supervisory authorities • Close collaborative cooperation with other departments, in particular Risk, Legal, Finance and People • Continuous training in various compliance topics WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Successfully completed studies in economics, law or business law or comparable studies • Ideally, several years of professional experience in the area of investment compliance in auditing or consulting firms, in-depth knowledge of the relevant regulatory and legal requirements, and/or • Several years of professional experience in the banking or financial services industry • Knowledge of MiFID II/MiFIR, WpHG, MaComp, MaRisk, MaDepot, MiCAR etc. as well as of other prominent EU regulatory frameworks • Fluency in English, and either Spanish or Portuguese is necessary WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY NOW Our culture rewards ownership, excellence, and high energy.
