Sales Director, APAC (Sales & Marketing)

About the Role We are at the early stage of building our B2B business across Asia, and we are looking for a senior leader to own and grow the region. This is an active leadership role: you will build the regional growth plan and personally drive it across Japan, China, and Korea. This is a rare opportunity to shape a high-potential market from the ground up — defining the strategy, opening new markets, and bringing an established network of buyer relationships that will accelerate our growth from day one. What You'll Do • Own the growth strategy and revenue plan for the APAC region (Japan, China, and Korea). • Lead and develop both sales and marketing efforts across the region — not maintaining, but actively growing. • Sell directly: this is a hands-on role where you are expected to prospect, build relationships, and close at a senior level using your own network and attending industry events and conferences with your team. • Launch and develop new markets across APAC • Build and manage the regional team including account executives, account managers and B2B Marketing specialists as the business scales. What We're Looking For • 15+ years in the training / EdTech industry. • Experience selling to the Learning & Development department as the primary buyer persona. • 10+ years managing both sales and B2B marketing teams. • A proven, active network of business and personal connections with buyers in the region. • Track record of launching new markets and building regional growth from an early stage. • Deep understanding of the EdTech landscape across Asia. • Full-cycle commercial credibility — able to prospect, close, and lead by example. • Bilingual: Japanese or Chinese fluency. English proficiency is a must.
