Is this a scam? Is WhoDooUNode legit? How do I know you are real?
Fair question — job-seeker scams are common and you should check us the same way you would check anyone. The fastest way: look the role up on the employer's own careers page. It is a real posting from a real employer, and you can apply there directly without us. We never charge you to apply, to be seen, or to be put forward, and we never ask for payment of any kind from a candidate.
How to check we’re real →Do I ever have to pay to apply or be submitted to a role?
No. Never. There is no fee, upfront payment, credit, upgrade or membership between you and an application — and there never has been. If anything ever asks you to pay in order to apply, be submitted, or be considered for a job, it is not us and we want to hear about it. Applying is free and always will be.
Do you sell résumé writing, résumé reviews or “optimization”?
No. We do not offer a résumé writing or résumé optimization service, we do not review or rewrite your résumé for a fee, and we will never refer you to someone who does or take a cut from one. A recruiter who pivots from the job to criticising your résumé and then recommends a paid “résumé expert” is running a known scam — that is not how we work. Nothing you can buy from us changes your match score either.
Are you recruiters? Do you take a placement fee or a cut of my salary?
No cut, ever — not from you, not from your salary. Employers pay us a flat amount to post a role; we never take a percentage of anyone's pay, and we never charge a candidate anything at all. Scouts refer and vouch for people they already know — they are not recruiters, they do not represent you, and they do not place anyone. Nobody on this platform gets paid more because you accept a bigger offer.
How did you get my details? Why did you message me on LinkedIn?
Because a role came up that looked like your lane, and a person — not a bot — decided to send it to you. We do not buy contact lists, we do not scrape inboxes, and nothing about you is imported without you creating an account yourself. If you would rather not hear from us again, just say so in the reply and that is the end of it.
Will my current employer know or see that I am looking? Is my resume private?
Not unless you publish a profile on purpose. Uploading a résumé and running searches is private — nothing about it is visible to anyone, indexed by Google, or shared with an employer. The only public page is an Open-to-Work profile, and that stays a private draft until you choose to publish it yourself. You can unpublish it at any time.
What happens to my résumé? Who can see it?
Your résumé is used to match you to roles and to build your profile. The uploaded file itself is deleted from storage within 24 hours; the parsed details stay on your account until you delete it. We do not sell your data, and we do not send your résumé to employers — when you apply, you apply on the employer's own site.
Are these jobs real? How do I know they are not ghost jobs, expired or fake?
Every role links to a real posting from a real employer, and you can look it up on their careers page to confirm it. Roles carry the hour they were posted rather than a vague “new”, they age off the board rather than sitting there forever, and we check that a link is still live at the moment you go to apply. If you ever find a dead or wrong listing, tell us and we will pull it.
Where do the jobs come from? Who posts these roles?
Some are posted directly by employers who work with us. The rest are fresh openings our network surfaces from public sources — real postings from real companies, which is exactly why you can go and verify any of them on the employer's own careers page. We never invent a role, and we never post one that is not really open.
How do I delete my account and my data?
From your dashboard settings — it cancels any active subscription immediately and starts a 30-day window, after which your personal details are scrubbed automatically. If you had commissions or references, those records stay for accounting and for the people who wrote them, but your personal information is removed from them.
How do I upload my resume?
Create a free account, then upload your résumé from your dashboard (PDF, DOC, or DOCX). Jessie automatically parses your information and matches you to fresh roles.
How does the job matching work?
Jessie analyzes your resume, skills, and experience to match you with relevant job opportunities. The higher the match score, the better the fit. The moment you upload your resume, Jessie matches you to the freshest roles in our network — including openings direct from employers, before they hit the public job boards.
Can I apply to multiple jobs at once?
Yes — you can apply to as many roles as you like. When you apply to a role through WhoDooUNode, that application is saved to your dashboard. Some public-board listings hand you off to the employer's own site to apply — those happen off-platform, so they aren't saved there.
How do I track my applications?
Your Dashboard keeps a record of the applications you've made through WhoDooUNode, so you can see what you've applied to in one place. Roles you apply to on an employer's own site happen off-platform and won't show up there.
What file formats are supported for resumes?
We support PDF, DOC, and DOCX files up to 10MB in size.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your billing period.
Can I change my plan anytime?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes will be reflected in your next billing cycle.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! You can start with our Free plan and upgrade when you're ready for more features.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, securely processed through Stripe.
How long is the Search Pack valid?
The Search Pack gives you 50 job searches that are valid for 120 days from the date of purchase. You can use them anytime within this period.
What's included in 'Candidate plan access'?
Candidate plan access gives you full access to our Jessie-powered job matching system, unlimited resume uploads, application tracking, and priority customer support.
How does careers-page sync work?
On the Company plan, you connect by sharing your public careers-page link — no logins or API keys. We detect your job board, sync your open roles into candidate matching, and give them priority visibility. Have a fully custom careers site? You can post roles manually instead.
Do unused searches roll over?
For the Search Pack, searches are valid for 120 days and do not roll over after expiration. The Free plan resets to 3 searches every 30 days.
Do I need to pay to get a referral link?
No! At WhoDooUNode, everyone gets a referral link automatically when they create a FREE account. You don't need to be a paying customer to participate in our referral program. Share your link with your network, and when they upgrade to premium, you earn rewards. It's the WhoDooUNode way: we believe in helping each other succeed. Your referral link is available immediately in your dashboard, letting you earn your way to premium features without paying upfront.
How does the Community Member upgrade work?
You can become a Community Member by either paying $49/year or by referring your network. For every person you refer who signs up and completes their first purchase, you earn referral credits. Once you reach the required number of credits, your account is automatically upgraded to Community Member for free. You'll get full community access and the highest referral rewards. Track your progress in your dashboard!
Can I get a refund?
The $9.99 Search Pack is non-refundable. A $49 Community Member membership can be refunded within 14 days of purchase — but only if you haven't used any of the searches included with it and haven't earned any commissions. Your free monthly searches are separate and don't affect this. If you think you were charged in error, email support@whodoounode.com within 7 days.
