No surprises. No fine print. These rules apply to every member earning commissions on the platform. How commissions work, when they pay out, what keeps your account in good standing, and what to do if something goes sideways.

Ask Jessie anything
Jessie lives in the bottom-right corner of every page. Stuck, curious, or not sure what's next? Just ask her.
That's it to start. Once you've been matched, you can build out your profile, collect references (your vouch), and — when you're ready — start earning by referring others. The sections below cover all of that.
Refer a paying client and you earn a cut of their subscription — every month they stay. Refer scouts and candidates and you earn on their purchases too. Here's the breakdown:
Bring a paying Company client ($149/mo) — 50% of their subscription, every month they stay
50% — when your referral buys (or upgrades to) the $49 Community Membership
Again every year they renew, for as long as you're both on an active membership
One-time, when a scout you referred buys their first pack ($9.99)
Each time your referred scout purchases more credits
Processed on the 1st of each month for previous month's earnings
First-touch attribution: Commissions go to the scout whose link was used at sign-up. If someone later signs up again with a different link, the original attribution stands.
Your code works offline too. If someone hears about WhoDooUNode from you directly — at an event, through a conversation, on a podcast — they can type your referral code manually at sign-up and you still get full credit. Share your code anywhere, not just your link.
Your commission balance starts accumulating from your very first referral. To request a cash withdrawal, you need to be a Community Member with at least 1 direct referral of your own and a $49+ balance.
This keeps payouts tied to a real, active network rather than throwaway accounts. Once you clear it, the payout button unlocks — and Stripe processing fees come out of your commissions.
You can track your referral count and commission balance any time at Dashboard → Referrals.
Join during the founder phase and your $49 founder rate holds for the entire founding period, and for 3 years after the founding period ends. The commission structure and pricing you joined on are protected for that whole window, regardless of what we change for new members later.
As the platform grows, rates and pricing for standard accounts may shift — founding members are shielded for that whole window. When it ends, membership moves to monthly, prices rise, and your commissions rise right along with them: every member you've referred starts paying you more.
Your founding status is shown on your dashboard. If you believe you should have founding status but it's not showing, contact support.
If a referral link sees an unusually high number of sign-ups in a short window — think a post going viral or a large community sharing the link — we automatically flag it for review. This is a good problem to have, but we need to verify the traffic is organic before releasing commissions.
What happens during a review:
Reviews complete within 5 business days. Once cleared, commissions release automatically — no action needed on your end.
If your link was reviewed and you weren't notified, or the review has been open longer than 5 business days, reach out to support and we'll sort it out.
When a scout you referred disputes a charge with their bank or card provider, the platform receives a chargeback. When that happens, the commission tied to that transaction is reversed.
This is also why new earnings clear after a short hold before they're withdrawable — 7 days for most referrals, 30 days for client referrals (their refund window runs longer). On your dashboard each earning shows as Held with its release date, then Cleared once it's free to withdraw. The hold simply protects you from withdrawing money that could later be reversed — nothing is lost, it just settles first.

Chargebacks are rare and outside your control — we flag this purely for transparency. Your account standing is not affected by a referred member filing a dispute.
This is the most important section of the handbook. WhoDooUNode is a referral platform — you earn commissions for connecting people you know to roles that fit them. You are not a recruiter, staffing agent, or personnel-placement professional under provincial (Ontario ESA, BC ES) or U.S. state labour frameworks. You also accepted this boundary explicitly when you signed the Scout Declaration. It's repeated here because where the line sits matters to your account standing and, in some jurisdictions, your legal exposure.
Things scouts do NOT do
Things scouts DO do
Language matters.
Say “someone I referred,” not “my candidate.” Say “I pointed them to this role,” not “I'm working on this for them.” Avoid “I represent,” “I'll negotiate,” “I placed them.” These aren't just style preferences — they're the legal line that keeps you (and the platform) outside regulated recruiting frameworks.
Licensed recruiter? Different rules apply.
If you hold a provincial or state employment-agency licence and want to operate as a recruiter on the platform, that's a separate tier we're building out post-launch. In the meantime, even licensed recruiters must stick to the referrer boundary when operating through the standard scout surface. See /legal-resources for jurisdiction-specific guidance.
The vast majority of scouts never need to think about this. It's here for transparency. These rules apply equally to every member — a $49 Community Member plan does not exempt anyone. These are the things that get accounts flagged or suspended:
Not allowed
Totally fine
If your account is flagged in error, contact support with context on where you shared your link. We review every case individually and restore accounts where the activity was legitimate.
See something? Say something.
If you see another member violating these rules — spamming, making false claims, impersonating the platform — you can report them at whodoounode.com/report. Reports go to our admin team for review. Nothing happens automatically. Filing a false report is itself a violation — repeat false reporters lose the ability to file reports.
“WhoDooUNode is built on trust. The scouts who show up honestly — sharing genuinely, referring fairly, looking out for their network — are who this platform exists for. We protect them by taking a zero-tolerance approach to anyone who tries to game the system. If that's not you, keep scrolling.”
These consequences apply to every member — scouts and anyone on a paid plan. A subscription does not change the rules. Here's exactly what happens depending on what we find:
Permanent bans are final. Reviewable suspensions can be appealed by contacting support within 5 business days of the suspension notice. Decisions on appeals are final.
If something doesn't look right — a missing commission, a review that's taking too long, a payout that didn't arrive — reach out. We're a small team and we read every message.
Pick your plan and lock your founder rate while the founder phase is open.
